What Causes Pain In Chest After A Fall During Pregnancy?

I fell down about 7 stairs on my back and I am 18 weeks pregnant and now I am getting extreme sharp pain in my chest only when I m sitting up right. I went to the hospital and was sent home and they want me to just have someone wake me every two hours to keep an eye for head injuries, but what would be causing the chest pains
