What Causes Pain In Chest Radiating To The Back?

for the last couple of days I have had this pain in my chest that goes to my back. In my back area, it feels like a big knot. It really hurts when I lay down. I took aleeve so I could sleep. Also I can really feel it when I breath in deep. Everything and everywhere I go, it smells smoky and harder to take deep breaths.
