What Causes Pain In Cuticles Of Nails During Menstruation?

I have been trying to find a reason for the pain I have in my cuticles on my fingernails, especially during my menstrual cycle or when my hands gets cold. There is no swelling, redness or blisters and during other times I have no pain, but during these times if just slightly hit it cause extreme pain. I found something called Glomus Tumor and wanted to know more about it and if this could be the cause of my pain?
