What Causes Pain In Ear Along With Dizzy Spells?

i have pain in my right ear and had dizzy symptoms few weeks back. After the consultation with general physician who proclaimed it as Vertigo suggested me Vertin 16mg. Though the dizzy symptoms are gone now, but i dont feel myslf balanced most of thwe time in a day and feel like sleepin or laying down most of the time. Please help.
