What Causes Pain In Face While On Amoxicillin?

Ive been taking amoxicillin since Thursday. it is for conjunctivitis. I also have a nasty cold so haven't been sleeping. I started developing pain on the right side of my face where the sinuses are, but no yellow discharge. also my eye is terribly sore and irritated. The pain is constant and I am unable to get rid of it with paracetamol or ibuprofen...it is just consistant. I think it is the amoxicillin. tomorrow is sunday and I cant get them changed until Monday. can I please stop them as I have had bad reactions before.?
