What Causes Pain In Genital Area And Swollen Clitoris?

My daughter is 7 and complains on and off about pain in her female area. Normally, I will check and see nothing out of the ordinary. By the time we can see a doctor, the pain is gone so I never make an appointment. Tonight she is complaining about the same pain but is actually crying from it. I looked and her clitoris is extremely swollen. I don t see any redness. What is going on and what can I do to ease her pain?! Thank you!
