What Causes Pain In Knees While Moving Them?

i have pain in the knees when i stoop down, sitting on the toilet, and also when getting up. i can no longer do yoga because it is so painful getting up & down. i can use the stair climber machine at the gym with no problem...i was told by the doctor that this is probably caused by the flu virus
