What Causes Pain In Lower Abdomen, Upper Thigh And Back During Periods?

I have my period right now. I usually have painful cramps and clotting with my period but this is different. I have sharp pain in my left lower midsection/upper thigh and it goes down my leg...and radiates around into my back. Not sure what to think. Any ideas?
