What Causes Pain In Lower Back Above Buttocks?

I have paid in lower back upper part of buttocks, haven t been able to move stool for couple of day. When I do little hard drops, but have gas a lot. Don t know if upper bone top of buttocks comes fro straing from trying to use the bath room. But I ve been on a diet. For four months now.
