What Causes Pain In Lower Back Along With Loss Of Appetite?

I have thought I pulled a muscle last week and have had back pain for almost a week. I went to a chiropractor and had my back adjusted but the pain is still there. I noticed that the pain is right in the area of my kidneys. I haven't had my usual appetite and have been very tired. Could I have a kidney infection? What should I do?
