What Causes Pain In Lower Back Radiating To Leg?

I have frequent lower back pain that travels down my leg, sometimes to my knee, sometimes all the way to my foot. Mostly on the right side. I also often feel like drops of cold water are falling on my foot when I am standing for short periods of time. Could this be a sciatica problem?
