What Causes Pain In Lower Back Radiating To The Ribcage?

I went to the er a week ago. They said i might have a kidney stone. It started withbb pain in my lower back. I have went almost a week with this pain which is now in my lower back around to the front and into my ribcage. With slight swelling under my left breast. Any ideas. And no i have not passed a kidney stone
