What Causes Pain In Lumbar Region?

After a couple of hours of housework, my lumbar region gets sore, if I twist there is sharp pain to drop me down, if I am walking on rough surface the jarring can make me drop with sharp pain, rough vehicle ride very painful. Female, 65 years, have always worked out.
