What Causes Pain In Neck, Throat And Ears After Recovering From E.coli?

I ve been experiencing a fever, swollen lymph nodes, pain in the back of my throat/ears and a severe pain in my neck. I came in contact with E. Coli during a lab a few days ago and was wondering if this may be a strain effecting my head/neck area? If not what could it be?
