What Causes Pain In Nipples?

hello doc. i m 18 year old girl. i have got a problem and i hesitate to discus it with any1 also my mom. i m having pain in my npples. i got this pain 2nd time.hot towel helped me quiet wel. but im worried if this could be a serious problem. is this normal with girls of the same age?
