What Causes Pain In Pelvic Area And Lower Back?

I stopped taking my birth control last month and had my period on the first of this month. My husband are trying to have a baby. Well, this morning I woke up and went pee. My pelvic area and lower back hurt and now for the rest of the day I have had pelvic pain when I move. Not really cramping. Also, yesterday I started to get a thick odorless discharge. I don't know if something is wrong. Will this be an issue since we are trying to get pregnant. It is the 18th now. Ovulation? Any Insite?
