What Causes Pain In Pubic Area Post A Bout Of Fever?

bruising pain in pubic area. just took urine sample and there was trace of protein in urine but i had just worked out prior to going to doctor. no pain when urinating and only feel anything when i touch the area. just getting over being sick and have been backed up for a week as well. waiting for urine culture results in a day or 2 just wondering what it could be.
