What Causes Pain In Pubic Area?

I started feeling some pain about an hour or two ago in my pubic area by the top left of my thigh. I I would feel it but nothing really felt out of the norm. But when I got home I got in the shower n once I was about to clean my private I felt a small hard lump I said wait a minute that wasn t there a few minutes ago. Now after I showered I pressed it n puss came out so I continued pressing until it was all out I still have a lump but it s miner but it hurts what might this be should i be concerned
