What Causes Pain In Right Flank?

I am a 35 year old, 150 lb. female with a history of passing ALOT of kidney stones. I also have kidney, bladder and urinary tract infections nearly constantly. I have no insurance and do not get seen very often, and when I do it is generally walk in clinics and ER if it is bad enough. I have also had a hysterectomy in 2000, after 4 live births I have been having sharp, burning pain through the inside and top of my right thigh for about a month now. I saw an osteopathic doctor yesterday at a wlak in clinic, and he put me on a 4 mg medrol pack and robaxin. I have taken the first day's and half of the last day's dose of the medrol and the pain has actually ramped up, and I am now having sharp, tearing pain in my right flank. It feels sharper and more tearing than a stone. could this be something I should be alarmed about?
