What Causes Pain In Shoulder Along With Tingling Sensation?

Tingling down my left arm to my hand while driving Long distances for work random times during the day. I raise my arm up and it goes away. I am healthy. 34. 6ft 200lbs. Muscled up. I had a vasectomy on 01/09/15. Was lying down a lot and on tramadol for pain. Woke up on the 13th with left shoulder pain and then noticed some tingling in my arm. I have no pain during the day. I sleep on right side now. I do workout but have been resting since 01/08/15. Waiting for tingling sensation to go away. Pain in shoulder has seem to go away. Should I see me dr? Is it a torn rotator cuff from heavy sleeping on my shoulder or a pinched nerve? Nerve pain from Vesectomy? Did I hurt it working out before my surgery?
