What Causes Pain In Side Of Body And Shoulders?

I had blood work and ultrasound to check gallbladder and other organs because I have had pain in my side and shoulder blade off and on for over a week. Everything came out negative. Still having pain off and on and this morning was the worst ever. Can it still be gallstones and they did not show on the ultrasound? I might go to the ER?
