What Causes Pain In The Back And Legs?

Had fifteen sessions in back and legs and have strange pain in side of left calf which is like a knife turning and shocks like electricity on top of my foot. Should this settle. Also have pain around my waist near to where I had gall bladder out. Pain in leg at moment and horrible ache in by back and bottom. Do you think any permanent damage has been done.
