What Causes Pain In The Back Behind Ribs?

I have a pain on the right side of my back behind ribs under arm , had been coughing for a long time, hurts at night and during day when I move, feel like something blow up there inside. I really concern. I had been coughing for 2 years or more. Pain get worse. I am thinking go to emergency room in couple days.
