What Causes Pain In The Ear And Loss Of Hearing?

Problem with ear..my daughter is 16..Before there was high temperature for one night ..one day later started to hurt..I gave augmentin..About the whole week she felt dizzy and hardly ever hear with one ear ..Inside like glued tubes with a little liquid behind ..What shall we do ?
