What Causes Pain In The Ear When The Flight Is Landing?

I had a flight that landed a little over half an hour ago. I have allergies, and my ears hurt really badly when landing. It went away for a little bit but now its back and it really badly hurts. The entire left side of my face hurts a little sometimes, and when I burp or hiccup it hurts so bad I burst into tears. Please tell me this is going away or I can relieve it somehow?
