What Causes Pain In The Inguinal Area And Testicles?

i am having pain in my inguinal area. it hurts on the left side of the bone and slightly sore in the left testicle. it started hurting this morning and has been lasting all day. any idea of what could be causing the pain and what could i use to relieve the pain
