What Causes Pain In The Left Abdomen After Partial Hysterectomy?

I had a partial hysterectomy in September 2010. I started having pain in my left abdomen about a week ago, mostly on the left side, shoots down my leg and sometimes I feel a "heaviness" in my left grown. I have no energy. Any idea what this could be?
