What Causes Pain In The Neck And Headache Post Injury?

So, I got a concussion by falling off a horse a couple times a whIle ago and I was cleared for practice about a week and a half ago. But I dell off today and my neck hurts, I have a headache, and had to turn the tv off because it was too loud. I don't want to go to the doc because I don't want them to tell me that I can't ride for a while again
