What Causes Pain In Upper Back Radiating Towards Chest Along With Nausea And Gastritis?

I have been having this nagging pain on the upper part of my back that radiates to my heart area. I am nauseous and feel bloated and gas when I eat. It s hard to sit. I have to stand up to try and relieve the pain. It s been a full week now. I thought it was gas. A doctor told me muscle spasm. Massages, cream for pain, or lidocaine patch doesn t help.
