What Causes Pain In Upper Part Of Foot In The Morning?

Hi quick question, my foot has been hurting when I get up in the morning and I'm sleeping in a normal position. The pain is on the upper portion of my right foot however its not a surface pain as in there is nowhere I can touch that the pain is coming from what's going on?
