What Causes Pain In Upper Ribcage While Deep Breathing?

Today randomly I kind of had to sit down kind of under my breast but my upper left rib cage hurts. When I laugh, take deep breaths, or talk for a while... earlier when it first started I could barely breathe I was limited to short breaths. Before all this my left wrist has been hurting.. I am a 21 year old female.
