What Causes Pain In Wrists Along With Numbness In Middle Finger?

I fell down the stairs yesterday and today both wrists are painful with numbness in the middle finger of the left hand. It aches and has started to throb. I have been taking ibuprofen. It didn t seem a big deal but is so painful now. I can move all my fingers and move my wrists up and down.
