What Causes Pain On The Left Side Of The Navel When Diagnosed With Gallstones?

I have medium pain on my left side of my navel. To me it feels like a pulled muscle. I know I have gall stones but I have had no pain on the right side ,upper area. I also burp a lot especially after meals and late night. The pain is worse as I set or bend over. I am not constipated.
