What Causes Pain Over Xiphoid Process While Coughing And Leaning Back?

I am a 43 yo active male. I have pain over my xiphoid process and the area next to it. I feels like muscle soreness and hurt when I cough, yell and lean back and twist to the right. I am trying to rest it but it seems to be getting worse! Eating does not change symptoms.
