What Causes Pain Radiating From Abdomen To Kidney?

Hi, I have been having strong cramping in my abdomen for 3 days, it has been radiating to my kidney area at times, these pains will subside for a little while but come back again, they aren t excruciating pains but are very strong. They are not menstral cramps as I haven t had a period since 1989 when I had a hysterectomy.
