What Causes Pain Radiating From Groin To Waist?

I have continuous pain on right side from groin up to waist but doctors cant seem to find cause. Have had MRI and X-rays but no answer. Pain feels better when I poop or get in hot tub and pool. then it starts all over again. Have had colonoscopy. Dr. says all is fine. Had hip checked - not that either.
