What Causes Pain Under Rib And Back While Having Diabetes And BP?

I have been experiencing pain on my left side under the last rib and it travels around to my back. It is a constant ache and there is a touchy spot under the rib. I am 61 yrs. old with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and I have had thyroid cancer in 2003, I also have had a complete hysterectomy in 2003.
