What Causes Pain Under Tongue And Jaw Area?

I am having pain under my tongue on the left and at jaw near my ear on the left several times a day, usually with meals but sometimes with just sipping water. After this pain, I have itchy swelling along the jawline and under the chin, on both sides but mainly on the left. At this point I start swelling around my eyes. I have been to allergy doctors for the itchy swelling and to ear, nose and throat doctors for work up of my salivary glands and no one can diagnose me. I was prescribed prednisone at one time and it helped tremendously but that dr. is afraid to prescribe it any longer. Benadryl helps on a short-term basis but I am taking it at almost every meal and it is really starting to dry me out. I am not sure what else to and finding myself being able to eat less and less. I appreciate any help I can get.

I am a 36 year old female with only hypoglycemia and scoliosis surgery as a teenager. My meds have been zyrtec and benadryl.

Thank you.
