What Causes Pain While Getting Up, Pain And Sensitivity In Eyes?

HI I believe to be experiencing a severe migraine. I have never had a migraine before but my mother suffers from migraines. It started this past Friday with sharp pressure-pain shooting to the right side of my head everytime I get up. Then saturday night the big headache started; by Sunday morning the pain was very strong but it was not a thumping pain. It did affect my eyes, my eyes hurt and were sensitive to the light. I also threw up and do not have much of an appetite. Movement highly amplifies the pain. I finally took two excedrin migraine pills and felt better but I still feel the shooting pressure-pain when I get up. Do you suggest that I see a doctor? Can this be serious?
