What Causes Painful And Growing Bump Between Vagina And Thigh?

I have a bump on my skin that is in the area between my vagina and my upper thigh. It started really small about 6 months ago and has recently grown larger and is painful. Yesterday it began to puss and felt like there was a knot underneith my skin. What could this be?
