What Causes Painful And Numb Toes While Having Osteoarthritis In Knee?

I have osteoarthritis in my rt knee and in both of my hands. But lately on my left foot my big toe has been killing me. I can barely bend it. But in the last two weeks, my toes will start to go numb while im being active. Like walking. What is the cause for this?
