What Causes Painful Ankle While Walking After An Injury?

This morning in Theatre I jumped was standing on this wooden block and I jumped off and this kid ran in front of me and I stepped on his foot. I landed and heard a rip/crack and my ankle hurt really bad for about 5 minutes and I could barely walk. Then it started to get better and now I feel hardly any pain but it still hurts a little when I walk. Do you think I have a sprained ankle?
