What Causes Painful Bumps On Arch Of Foot?

I get these painful bumbs on the arch or foot and on the sides sometimes they are red and very swollen. The first day is very painful the 2nd day they itch and when I scratch they burn and the 3rd they go away. I also notice that at times i feel pain and notice red on my wristes knees and sometimes even my back bone. Right now my lower back is killing me too. Please help...thanks
