What Causes Painful Bumps On Hands And Feet?

I recently went on a cruise and used hand sanitizer about 15 times a day. About two weeks later I noticed a little bump that was very painful on my left palm. Two days later the bump started to itch and spread. The pharmacist said it looked like a wart, so i treated it with the Dr. Schols wart removal kit. I waited two weeks and the area that I treated was better, but I noticed a bump (pin size) on my right ring finger, so I treated it an it went away after two weeks. I did not notice any other bumps until my mom was admitted to the hospital for four days and I used the hand sanitizer again about 6 times a day. Now I have several pin sized bumps (~30) that are painful, on both hands and now on my feet. Any ideas what this may be? I am under a great deal of stress aslo right now. Thanks.
