What Causes Painful Bumps On Tongue During Pregnancy?

Hi- I am 16 weeks pregnant and have noticed that my tongue has some painful bumps on it lately that dont want to go away. I brush my tongue and have excellent oral hygiene. The spots seem almost itchy and it hurts when I try to brush them. I had bronchitis for 2 weeks so I am not sure if this could be a remaining symptom? Any thoughts?
