What Causes Painful Face And Ear While Having Numb Tongue?

I have had a numb tongue for a year now on right side only seems since my wisdom tooth came through been to hospital to see authidontist and she said nothing to do with numbness from looking at xrays but i do get face and ear pain on the right could that be to do with numbness.
