What Causes Painful Head And Neck?

I've had a pain on the left side of my head front and back but when I move it forward it hurts, I think it may be because of my neck because my neck if I tilt it to the side it cracks very loud and I think my neck is telling me enoughh because when I move my neck it hurts my head, I had my mom check my head for any signs she is a nurse and she said nothing's wrong only that it may be my neck or that I didn't get enough sleep I don't know
