What Causes Painful Itchy Bumps On Feet?

Hello. I was prescribed an antibiotic over a week ago for a bad taste I had in my mouth (thought to be related to a sinus infection). I finished the medication in 5 days, and yet the taste remains. Yesterday evening I developed a series of large, itchy, painful mosquito-bite like bumps on my feet. They appear on my toes, the tops and side of my feet. There are about six of them. They kept me up all night, and continue to be quite painful and itchy today. Is this possibly related? I also have never had chicken pox, nor the vaccine. Could it be shingles?
