What Causes Painful Knee And Hip With History Of Hip And Knee Surgeries?

I have had three surgeries on my right hip, one thirteen years ago which was a revision. Also had a knee replacement on my right knee about two years ago. Now I am experiencing some knee and hip pain when trying to walk after sitting or lying down I use Voltaire gel three times a day when this happens. Should I get an xray to see what is going on with my right leg?
