What Causes Painful Lump In Groin While Having EBV Infection?

I have a lump in my groin for two month or more then two days ago tripled in size.... Was painless but now pain from swelling also chronic cough times 6months.....no spleen and I have chronic active ebv meaning I always test positive for active ebv infection.....should I be concerned? How long should ultra high sound results take if they show cancer?
